Sound familiar?
When talk hasn't reached the places that need attention
Most guests arrive carrying more than the language for it. What follows is often what has quietly brought them to the land.
Grief that hasn't moved
A loss (a person, an identity, a chapter) that talk hasn't quite reached.
Burnout that won't lift
A body sending signals: exhaustion, tightness, dysregulation. Signals you can no longer ignore.
A life in transition
Between relationships, between roles, between chapters, with no room to catch your breath.
Ran on empty as a carer
Years of holding others: children, parents, partners, patients. Nothing left for yourself.
None of that is a diagnosis. It is simply a body asking for a different kind of attention than a conversation. That is what the herd, the land and a quiet hour with Soo offer.

The healing power of horses
Why we heal alongside horses
Horses are deeply attuned to human emotion. They respond to subtle shifts in thought, feeling and nervous-system state, reflecting back what we may not yet consciously see.
As prey animals their senses are extraordinary. They can hear a heartbeat from metres away and synchronise their own to the herd. They live entirely in the moment, honest patient teachers of trust, mindfulness and calm.
- ✓ Attuned to what you feel before you find the words
- ✓ Honest, and completely without judgement
- ✓ Help settle and regulate the nervous system
- ✓ Free to approach, stay or leave, always at liberty

Common questions about equine-assisted healing
Why horses? What do they offer that's unique?
Horses are prey animals with finely tuned senses. They read your body language and nervous system honestly and without judgement, reflecting back what you may not yet see and inviting you into calm, connection and self-awareness.
Do I need any experience with horses?
None at all. Every session is ground-based and client-led — you choose how close you come, and Soo works at the pace your body is ready for.
Do I have to ride, or even touch, the horses?
No. Everything is ground-based and completely optional. The horses are at liberty — free to approach, stay or leave — and some people spend the whole session simply being near the herd.
Is this clinical equine therapy or medical treatment?
No. This is non-clinical, holistic, complementary healing that sits alongside your medical or psychological care, not in place of it. It is not covered by health insurance or NDIS.
How much do sessions cost?
A 60-minute Somatic Energy Healing session is $395, and a 90-minute Reiki With The Herd session is $595. Retreats and on-site accommodation are tailored and priced on enquiry.
Want to understand the work more deeply before you enquire? Our library of gentle guides walks through what a session and a retreat are really like, who they suit, and what to expect.
